Spring Energized Seal is a high performance seal with a special spring inside a u-shaped teflon. By proper spring force plus system fuid pressure, the sealing lip(face) is pushed out and gently pressed against the sealed metal surface to produce excellent sealing effect. The dynamic effect of the spring can overcome the slight eccentricity of the metal mating surface and the wear of the sealing lip and maintain the desired sealing performance.
