PTFE envelope gasket consists of two parts, cladding layer and insert filer. Insert filer is generally the non-metal sealing material with or without metal enhancement layer , such as asbestos rubber sheet, non-asbestos rubber sheet and graphite composite sheet board etc.
PTFE envelope gasket is mainly used in flat flanges and convex section steel pipe flanges connection. According to different structures of the inner filler, there are v-shaped,u-shaped and L-shaped.
